Description: This island off the east coast of Hispaniola is now a national park inhabited by sea turtles, pigeons and other wildlife. The caves here were once used by the Indians, and according to legend, Columbus once strayed ashore here. Popular for its beautiful, pristine beaches, taking a catamaran or other boat to get here is also great fun.
