Limerick is probably Ireland's last unspoiled city. From a tourist point of view it might not seem to hold the same allure as Cork or Galway, but it is a perfect vantage point to view the Irish culture and the way in which "the Irish" behave when they are not being "observed". Only twenty minutes by bus from Shannon Airport.
