Tripbase Creative Writing Competition

Tripbase.com is proud to present a unique challenge for the discerning and creative blogger. It comes in the form of a writing competition with the chance to not only show off your prowess as a wordsmith but also to win a top prize of $1,000 with both 2nd and 3rd each receiving $500 and $250 respectively! We'll also be providing Creative Awards badges for the top 20 winners which you can display at your discretion.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is visit the Tripbase.com website for inspiration and then relay what you feel to be your DREAM HOLIDAY in the most enthralling and entertaining way possible via the medium of your blog. Maybe you want to tell us about the holiday you had last summer, or even a fictional short story about the imaginary adventure you embarked upon as you read through the vacation results that were recommended to you on the Tripbase.com website (or indeed any destinations your imagination can concoct!). Anything goes in this competition!

What we at Tripbase.com are looking for is the best piece of writing which accurately conveys a message of what a dream holiday might entail, whilst at the same time containing elements of humor, passion and - above all - creativity.

Applicants (see contact information below) are expected to produce their respective pieces in a timely fashion, as this competition is limited to 50 entries or 1 month after the start of the competition (whichever comes first), with entries being considered on a first-come-first-serve basis. In order to be deemed as a successful applicant, you must post the piece to your blog and then submit the location of the piece to us via email. Also, applicants must adhere to the word count of between 300-1500 words (300 word minimum, 1500 words maximum, give/take 10%). So get writing, people!
