Malaysia cruises

Malaysia is not the most common place to take a cruise. Malaysia cruises though will take you away from the usual hustle and bustle of traditional cruise destinations where the ports are jam packed full of other people of tours who are also on shore-excursions, and make whatever place you visit seem overcrowded. Not so when you head to Malaysia where you'll find many more traditional ports, much more of a traditional culture, and much more of a traditional life.

You'll also note that there is little in Malaysia that has become diluted by tourism and whereas the country has of course changed in the years since it got independence from the British, it still retains its roots and is one of few cruise destinations where everything seems so authentic. But you can start in Kuala Lumpur. This is the city that symbolizes just how far Malaysia has come.

It's a modern and very vibrant center. While you may have heard of it, you'll assume that you don't know anything about it, however you are mistaken because you've probably actually heard of the Petronas Towers which were the tallest buildings in the world for a while. After spending a little time perhaps shopping in Kuala Lumpur you should head to the base of the towers where you can kick off your shoes and take a little paddle in the shallow waters around the base of the towers.

It's a nice little touch that tourists on Malaysia cruises seem to really love just as much as office workers and Malaysia's children. The National Mosque is also somewhere that's really worth visiting. It has a roof that looks like an umbrella and is a really beautiful building.

No need to worry about wearing appropriate clothing after leaving your Malaysia cruises for a shore-excursion because special robes will be provided to ensure that you are covered up to conform with the rules of the place. Also in Malaysia are some incredible parks which regular visitors to Kuala Lumpur will remind you that you really have to check out. One of the very best is the butterfly park which has very many different species of beautiful butterflies in a wonderful natural setting. There are also 15,000 different types of plants and the whole place is made to look like a Malaysian tropical rainforest. These is also a famous deer park which contain several mouse-deer, the world's smallest hoofed creature!
