Another earthquake of magnitude 7.4 strikes 28 miles of Japanese coast

Stobart

A tsunami has been predicted in north-eastern Japan with the whole area, which was devastated by an earthquake and subsequent tsunami last month, has been issued a tsunami warning. Japanese TV has just broken the news and warned those in low-lying areas to move to higher ground.

The earthquake is thought to have struck around 28 miles off the coast of Japan, not far from the Fukushima nuclear plant which was stricken after the devastation caused by last month’s catastrophe. Predictions of a further 1 meter high tsunami follow this latest quake.
