In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, actress Penelope Cruz has confirmed that her next movie will involve comic actor, writer and director Woody Allen. Cruz was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars following her involvement with Allen in the move “Vicky Cristina Barcelona”.

Details of the film remain secret however. Cruz told the magazine “It’s a movie with Woody Allen,” but added “I really cannot say anything about the story or the characters”.

We do know that the film is confirmed to be shot in Rome. While most of his films have historically been set in New York City, Allen has stated that the city is now too expensive to use as a movie setting. His last film was set in London.

Penelope Cruz gave birth to a boy in late January and will feature in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film which will hit the cinema screens on May 20th.
