Interest in the famous rock star’s piano has reached new heights

Nepal

Yoshiki’s crystal piano has reached $1.2 million in Yahoo! Japan’s charity auction, the biggest celebrity auction for the Japanese Earthquake appeal.

Showing no signs of slowing down with days left of the auction, the crystal Kawai CR-40 belongs to one of Japan’s biggest heavy weight stars.

Other celebrities donating to the appeal include Britney Spears who is auctioning off her pants and top she wore on her first TV commercial for Japan in 1999 which is currently at $4,136.93.

The piano has 634 interested people who have helped push the current amount to $1,209,701.22.

Organisers have been impressed by the celebrities helping out in the appeal, although even more so at the masses of people interested in investing into the appeal, gaining themselves a piece of celebrity memorabilia whilst donating to the appeal.
